Digitraffic was founded in 2022 by the entrepreneur Björn Selander. Digitraffic Infrastruktur AB is the Swedish answer to supporting the implementation of connected mobility in the smart mobility ecosystem. With an unique oppertunitiy with over two decades of experience in IT and business development with the latest years as responsible for C-ITS development and architecture at Swedish transport administration, Björn saw the need to provide both knowledge and tools for interoperability and connectivity in the smart mobility market.
At Digitraffic, we belive that connectivity in realtime between all road users, road equipment and road authorities will create an enhanced collaborative digital perception of the current traffic situation. The digital traffic perception can be used to boosts quality in decissionmaking by any entitiy in the system wether it´s based on AI or a human thinking, fostering a safe and efficient traffic environment. We are firm belivers that connectivity, based on open standards, cultivates fresh business prospects and enhanced services that will accelerate the mobility sector against our vision.

Björn Selander - Founder and CEO
Björn is a visionary leader and entrepreneur with a background in working within multinational environments. He has a computer engineering education from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). As an experienced leader, business architect and an expert in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) and he has the capacity to drive the connected mobility market into the future.
At Digitraffic, the focus is on supporting the implementation of connected mobility within the broader smart mobility ecosystem. Björn’s leadership and innovative approach are at the heart of Digitraffic’s belief that real-time connectivity among all road users, equipment, and authorities will create an enhanced collaborative digital perception of the current traffic situation fostering a safe and efficient traffic environment.

Sebastian Domar Bolmstam - Technical officer
Sebastian Domar Bolmstam has a computer engineering education from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), specializing in software development. As a full stack developer with expertise in both Java and C#, Sebastian is a proficient and innovative developer dedicated to advancing the field of intelligent transport systems. His extensive knowledge in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), particularly in C-ITS standards and security models, positions him as a key contributor to the connected mobility landscape.
In his previous role at the Swedish Transport Administration, Sebastian played a crucial role in developing internal software solutions for the railway system. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of the critical importance of secure and efficient software in transportation infrastructure.
At the core of Sebastian’s professional philosophy is the belief that real-time connectivity among all road users, equipment, and authorities can create a comprehensive digital perception of traffic situations.
Sebastian is passionate about leveraging his skills and knowledge to drive the deployment of innovative connected mobility solutions.
